Clerkships Office:

The Clerkships Office is responsible for handling the student clinical clerkships at affiliated hospitals once the students receive the authorization from the Deans Office, and a notification is sent to this office, along with a plan of the clinical rotations as approved. The Clerkships Office is responsible for ensuring the clinical standards of education are being met by the affiliated hospitals. The office mainly works as a bridge between the students and the hospitals making sure students are given the best clinical education and that they enjoy the clinical training at the sites. The Clerkships and Affiliations Office also pays surprise visits to the affiliated sites and evaluates clinical education. It works with the hospitals and the students, connecting them to the other offices, such as the Registrar, the Records and the Dean’s Office.
Our office will inform you of the opportunities available in the clinical program, the schedule of your clinical program at the affiliated sites, the required education material for the various clinical clerkships, and will answer any other questions you might have concerning your clerkships.
We currently have affiliated hospitals in the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Mexico and Belize. We are trying to expand our affiliated sites as we try to maintain the number of student and physician ratio for the clinical training.

Financial Aid:

The Financial Aid Office handles student financial aid applications, approvals through lenders, and the development of financial aid solutions for the students. We are a student-friendly department working for the students with financial institutions offering student aid along with the Offices of the Registrar and the Bursar.
Our office will help answer any questions you might have regarding the financial aid programs available, the different loan programs administered, the status of your application after consultation with the financial institution, and reimbursements for your personal expenses.
Currently we are trying to expand the financial aid program available.
